Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information discstylereport.com ("we," "us," "the Site") collects when you purchase or use the DISC Style Assessment, and how that information is used, shared, and retained.

Information we collect

We collect very little, by design:

• Payment information. All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — Stripe handles that entirely and keeps its own record of the transaction for receipts and fraud prevention, governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
• Email address. If you provide an email at checkout (or as a gift recipient), we read it once, at the moment of sending your access code, and then discard it. Your email is never written to our database.
• Assessment responses. Your answers to the DISC assessment itself are processed in your own browser and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
• Purchase and redemption records. We keep a record of each purchase (an internal purchase ID, the Stripe session reference, number of seats, amount paid, and whether each access code has been redeemed) so that codes can be validated and, for team purchases, so a dashboard can show redemption progress. This record never includes your name or email.
• Optional team-sharing data. If you take a team/group assessment and choose — entirely at your own option, from your own results screen — to share your results to your team's dashboard, we store your name and your D/I/S/C scores for that purpose only. This is opt-in per person; if you don't choose to share, nothing about your results is stored.
• Basic usage analytics. We use GoatCounter, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to see aggregate traffic (e.g. how many people visit the site). It does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifying information.

How we use this information

We use the information above only to: process your payment, deliver your access code(s), let you redeem a code and view your results, power the optional team dashboard for group purchases, and understand overall site usage. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that make the Site work, and only as needed for them to provide that service:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Our email delivery provider (e.g. Gmail or a transactional email service) — used solely to send your access code(s) to the email address you provide.
• GoatCounter — anonymous, aggregate traffic analytics.

We do not share information with any other third party, and we do not share it for marketing purposes.

Data retention

Purchase and redemption records are kept indefinitely as our record of who is owed a valid, unused code. Email addresses and assessment answers are never stored in the first place, so there is nothing to retain or delete on that front. Team-sharing data (name and D/I/S/C scores) is kept for as long as the associated team dashboard remains relevant, and can be removed on request — see Contact below.

Cookies

The Site itself does not set tracking cookies. Stripe's checkout page may set cookies necessary for processing your payment securely; that is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy, not ours.

Children's privacy

This Site is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights

Because we retain so little personal information in the first place, most access/deletion requests are simple to honor. If you'd like to know what information (if any) we hold about you — for example, data tied to a team dashboard you shared to — or would like it removed, contact us at the email below.

Security

We rely on Stripe for all payment handling, so card data never reaches our systems. Access to purchased reports and team dashboards is controlled by unique, hard-to-guess codes and tokens; treat any code or dashboard link you receive as you would a password.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
